Bemidji Area Climate Change Coalition meeting 6 PM this evening

Bemidji Area Climate Change Coalition from an e-mail announcement sent by Robert Shimek:

The next meeting of the Bemidji Area Climate Change Coalition will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, July 13 at Diamond Point Park. I hope to see you all there.

Quick apologies to all, The IEN Protecting Mother Earth Conference took a lot of my time over the last couple weeks and I haven't been able to get meeting summary and plan from last meeting. I will do so tomorrow. We (IEN) had an absolutely incredible four day meeting at the Cass Lake pow-wow grounds with Indigenous Peoples from all over the world.

Also brought to my attention from an e-mail by Robert Shimek:

Many stories are in the press today about wine and climate change, triggered by AP Science writer Randolph Schmid's article (Paper: Climate Change Threatens Wineries) covering a paper published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

There are other stories with narrower geographic focus, e.g. Ukiah Daily Journal - Climate change affecting grapes and several other regional stories forecasting profits or loss in the big wine growing ares of the world. Google it!
