Sen. George Allen concedes, Dems have a majority!

I just watched the live cablecast on C-SPAN of Sen. George Allen's speech, and I thought it was a pretty classy act, football, and all. Someone at Wonkette liveblogged his concession, and they were a sarcastic ass about the whole affair.

I am glad that Dems have a majority in both houses, but there was too much stage management of democracy, to much injection of big money and elite influence early in the endorsement process, and the only way to combat that is early involvement in the next set of Presidential, Senate and Congressional campaigns, and forcing the MN DFL to defend its own endorsement process, and do outreach about it to all Minnesotans, and especially those constituencies that matter most in the general election.
