Putting parepin into the political waters...

Google's Matt Cutts has a post providing his expert search engine marketing analysis on the viral marketing of the new Nine Inch Nails CD. The use of "unique nonsense words" like parepin make it easier to create findable websites with those terms included, where a real word would be more competetive, and it would be impolite to add commercial disinfo to terms sought after by the general public.

I also like the idea of creating interest by leaving USB flashdrives in public places. If only I had that kind of marketing budget...
