Rachel Paulose resigns
A recent diary on DailyKos characterized Rachel Paulose as paranoid and pursued by a criminal cabal within the Department of Justice:
... the interview takes a shocking twist and Rachel's good buddy Scott blames the New York Times for having a well know liberal bias. But you probably knew that without reading the interview. I'm not going to quote any more of the interview because I don't want to ruin it for you but it involves Rachel being persecuted by a shadowy group of child pornographers and sex slave traffickers inside the Justice Department. Yes you read that correctly. Child pornographers and sex slave traffickers inside the Justice Department are retaliating against her for being too successful at her job...
That Kos diary eventually track back through TPM to Eric Black: Is Rachel Paulose Being Hounded from Office by People Who Are Soft on Prostitution?
Maybe the Office of Legal Policy of the Department of Justice will be a safe haven from the child pornographers that plague the rest of that organization?
I don't have an opinion about any of this... yet. I haven't been so impressed with the Department of Justice since...
- the COPA-justification-attempt subpoenas of search engine records
- since the failures of 9/11
- those failures being compounded by the FBI losing control of Ibn al-Shaykh al-Libi to the CIA, leading to his false confessions under CIA torture of Iraq/Al-Qaeda linkages then were used by Cheney to lead us into a death of a thousand papercuts in Iraq
- they decided to take human resources off of counter-terror taskforces and put them to the task of intimidating legal porn publishers on 2257 compliance...
I guess I am not convinced that Girls Gone Wild is more dangerous than say, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar?
